Flensted Mobiles, a family run company based on the island of Funen, Denmark, has been practicing the art of mobile design since the 1950's. Their handmade art is designed so that each of the elements are in constant motion, while the entire mobile maintains a harmonic balance. Flensted Mobile's story begins in 1953, with founder Christian Flensted, looking for a christening gift for his daughter. He cut out three storks and mounted on a straw - right then and there, Flensted Mobile was born. For over 60 years, Flensted Mobiles has created movement and balance.
